Italian architecture. Less is more or less is a bore?(written in English and Dutch) When I entered Puglia, I got immediately surprised by a couple of things: the flat landscape, no mountains or rolling hills, but the sea and 1000’s of acres of olive trees and vineyards. Also the style of the houses got my attention, are we still in Italy? Not those typical Italian colored houses, but the white rectangular structured bungalows with a roof terrace, large rocky gardens with giant cactus trees and a driveway with olive trees were not immediately my style.
